We are VERY excited to have an Adult beginner class, as well as 2 intro to Irish dance class for your favourite small humans! Please note - enrolment fees are required for students enrolling for the full year. Questions about which class is best for your dancer? Don’t hesitate to reach out!

Ciara Duignan TCRG

Ciara achieved her TCRG certification in 2011 and is a registered teacher with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha. She has been coaching Irish dancers in Penticton since 2009 and opened the Castilla School of Irish dance in 2018. Ciara competed at the highest level of Irish dancing, qualifying for and competing at the World Championships, North American Championships and European Championships. Ciara loves sharing her passion with her dancers, and wants them to feel inspired, encouraged, and challenged in dance class. She believes that the skills and confidence built in the studio will carry on with her students throughout their lives.

Megan Harper TCRG

Megan achieved her TCRG certification in 2011, passing the exam with honours, and is a registered teacher with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha. Megan competed at the highest level of Irish dancing before retirement at 20 to achieve her teacher’s certification. Megan motivates and inspires her dancers to work hard for their goals, and her drive and positivity to help achieve them is contagious.

Kelsea O’Gorman tcrg

Kelsea achieved her TCRG in 2022, passing the exam with honours, and is a registered teacher with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha. Kelsea completed all 12 of the CLRG grade levels, becoming the first Castilla dancer to earn her diploma in Irish dancing. Kelsea danced at the highest level of Irish dance, competing in many major championships, and now after many years dancing for Ciara and Megan, she has joined the teaching ranks!

We love performing! The students of Castilla Irish Dance have entertained at festivals, cultural events and St. Patrick’s day parties all over the Okanagan.
