Harold & Ted Alfond Sports Center

Officially opened December 6, 2000, the Harold & Ted Alfond Sports Center serves as the home of Rollins College Athletics. The facility more than doubles the square-footage of the old Enyart-Alumni Field House, the Tars main athletics building from 1967-2000.

The facility houses the Athletics Department, the 2,500-seat Warden Arena, McKean Gymnasium, Daryl's Fitness Center, and classrooms.

Warden Arena is the home for Rollins' volleyball and basketball programs as well the main venue for large events on campus. It has twice served as the court for the women's basketball NCAA Division II South Region Tournament and saw the Tars cut down the nets in 2012. Recent special events include concerts, a lecture by Jane Goodall and a grassroots event and speech by President Barack Obama. Warden also hosts each of the College's three graduations each year.

Also on the main floor of the ASC are varsity locker rooms for volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse and for rec sports. Daryl's Fitness Center is located next to Warden Arena and serves as the main weight room and workout facility for the College. The Rollins Dance Studio is adjacent to Daryl's and is used for group fitness classes, including yoga, zumba and boot camp.

Located on the second floor of the ASC, McKean Gymnasium has three full-size basketball courts, volleyball courts and space for campus recreation. Varsity sports utilize the facility for practices. Adjacent to McKean and overlooking Warden Arena is the Tar Booster Hall of Fame Room. Roughly 80% of the head coaches for Tars athletics keep their office on the second floor as well.
