Stan Spirou Field House

The Stan Spirou Field House was re-named May 4, 2018 for the legendary men's basketball coach, who won 640 games over a 33-year career at SNHU. The Field House received another facelift in the summer of 2017, with all new basketball hoop systems being installed, in addition to a new divider, new backstops, new LEDs and updated conference logos painted on the resurfaced wood floor.

The Field House underwent a complete overhaul in the summer of 2014 and is the home to the Penmen men’s and women’s basketball teams as well as the women’s volleyball team. Among the renovations were new bleachers, a new competition wood floor, improved lighting as well as banners celebrating SNHU's numerous athletic achievements as well as its affiliation with the Northeast-10 Conference.

In 2001, the Athletic Complex completed renovations that included a large, multipurpose lobby area outside the Field House.  This large space allows room for a built-in concession window and an area for SNHU merchandise, as well as display cases for the school’s many athletic achievements.Â
