McDowell Activity Center

The McDowell Activity Center is in the heart of the University of Mary campus and home to the Marauders men's basketball, women's basketball, volleyball and wrestling teams. Known as the MAC, the facility seats 1,300 people.

The multipurpose facility is also used for many different campus events, including Prayer Day, convocations, and the Wheat Ceremony for incoming students.

The court is named for longtime Marauders athletic director Al Bortke. In addition to being a highly successful men's basketball coach for the Marauders, Al oversaw the expansion of Marauders athletics from one program to over 20 with impressive national success.
