Room block at the Hyatt Regency Calgary will open on

Wednesday May 15, 2024, at Noon MST

Information, and the reservation link, will be posted here, emailed to your dance teacher, and posted on WCIDTA’s social media accounts (Instagram and Facebook).

Please do not attempt to reserve a room before the opening time as the committee will be reviewing reservations and those not permitted will be dropped without notice.

Notes for Room Opening and Planning Your Reservation

  • A one night non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking.

  • The Hyatt has a maximum occupancy of four people in a double queen room. Those seeking to house more than that may request two adjoining rooms (king / double queen). If you wish to do this, please telephone the Hyatt once the block is open at (403) 717-1234. There are also a few conference suites and if they are available when you are booking, they will show up online.

  • There is the option to request a cot in king rooms.

  • If the block sells out, please do not panic. There is plenty of time before the Oireachtas and the committee will work to house everyone who wishes to stay in the block as comfortably as possible. Secondary hotel blocks will be released as necessary.

Saturday November 9, 2024: All Teams (new to team comps this year adding 6-hands!), All Mini-Champ Comps (traditional set and treble jig),

NEW N/PW Soft Shoe Reel Special, NEW Mini-Champ Treble Reels (N/PW and B/AB), NEW B/AB Reel Trophy

Sunday November 10, 2024: 14&O Championship Solos, 14&O Championship Traditional Sets,

NEW 14&O Championship Treble Reels, NEW Freestyle Competition
